Soil Testing Labs

Soil Testing Labs

UC Master Gardeners of Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties do not provide soil or plant testing services.  However, there are a number of excellent testing labs you can send your samples to.

A list of commercial soil testing labs in northern and central California can be found in the attachment tab of this article: http://cesonoma.ucanr.edu/files/27431.pdf.
The list describes testing capabilities for the different labs along with their contact information.

Analyses performed include: plant and soil nutrients, manure and compost, plant pathology, nematology, irrigation water testing, hazardous wastes and pesticide residue. Laboratories were identified by performing internet searches for diagnostic testing related to crop production.
Laboratories provided in this listing are for informational purposes only and do not constitute endorsement or recommendation by University of California Cooperative Extension.

See attachments in above tab.
