What do I need to know before Posting a Project?


Do you have a certain task or project that you require experts to work on? At Simple.pk you can connect with multiple expert freelancers and choose the most suitable one for your job.

To get started with posting a job all you need is to Register as a buyer and click on 'Post a Job'. You can also post a job without registering but registration will still be required at a later step. You can also hire a Job Buddy who will post the job for you and manage the entire process till completion, this will require extra charges but you can sit back and relax.  For this option, click the Job Buddy button, fill the form and a Job Buddy will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

The  Post a Job form has 6 sections that need to carefully filled out:

1. Title: Choose a meaningful title that best describes the type of work you need in 3-8 words or 1 short sentence. Don't simply write Data Entry or Website Design, to set your project apart from other similar projects mention maybe your company name (Website Design for Hawaa NGO) or the type of work required (PHP Website Dynamic and Responsive) or other details such as (Website Design similar to www.Haw.com) etc.

2. Categories: From a broad list of categories choose the most suitable category for your job. This will help relevant freelancers to view and bid on the project. 

3. Skills: From a broad list of skills choose the most relevant skills needed for your job. This will help freelancers with relevant skills to view and bid on your project.

4. Description: Here you can broadly and thoroughly describe your project. Try to give as many details as possible, the clearer the description the more chances of getting exactly what you need. You can also upload 1 attachment if you want to show a certain design or file.
You don't have to share each and every specific detail here (there will be more chances to communicate with the freelancer later in the workroom) but it's advisable to share as much as possible to receive bids from freelancers who can exactly meet your needs. 

5. Budget: Here specify the amount you wish to compensate for your job. Remember, high quality and expert freelancers will only choose jobs that pay well. Freelancers also have the option to bid their amount when submitting their proposal, they may bid lower than the amount you specified to compete with eachother or if they are beginners, they sometimes may also bid higher if they think your specified amount is too low. A budget that is too low for an expert project may not receive any bids at all.

6. Duration: In this section you need to specify the Job Duration which is the amount of time in which you want the work to be completed. Remember this time will Not start from the day you are posting the project, it will also take some time for you to choose a freelancer and escrow the amount set. Once a freelancer has been choosen and the project has started then this job duration starts allowing the freelancer to work in the given time.
Here you also need to specify a proposal submission deadline which is the last date for receiving application for the project, after this date no more freelancers will be able to bid on your project and you must choose from one of the existing bids.
You can also select the location of freelancers for receiving bids. It's highly advisable to keep it set to 'All Locations' to receive quality bids from freelancers no matter where they are. Work is normally completed online, through the portal, thus location is not important.
