Include Live Video Call during Assignment

This document gives steps for adding a live video link to an Edcite assignment. Students will be able to access the link when they start the assignment or when they click to the Review page. 


1. Get your meeting link from Zoom, Google Meet, Gotomeeting or Skype - copy the link or write it down for later reference (list of video services here)



2. Sign into Edcite and go to Assignments → My Assignments





3. Find the Assignment you want to add the video link to and click on the name











4. Add a note with instructions for students in the assignment notes section and copy the link there. Make sure to include any instructions you have for students when joining the cal (i.e. if they will be muted by default or if there is a waiting room. After this Save the assignment.

5. After you have sent the assignment to students, make sure you launch the meeting at the times you have indicated. Only students who have opened the assignment will have the link to join.
