DTG Viper SERVICE REQ. 00010004

Symptoms:
Customer was getting SERVICE REQ. 00010004 error. 

Diagnosis:
Had him check the position of encoder strip. It was determined that it was not seated correctly in the carriage unit. 

Treatment:
Re-seated the encoder strip in the carriage unit.  Once seated correctly the error cleared.
