How to 'Hand Over' your Light role to someone else

There may come a time when you need to hand over your Light role to a different account. Here are some examples of why you would need to do this:

• You created 2 accounts and want to move your prayer list progress from one to the other.
  
• You want to help sign up a friend and want to take the guess-work out of setting up their neighborhood list.
  
• You are a church administrator and you want to transition an offline Light role into a full account. 
  

To hand over your Light role,  use the following steps.

• Once logged into your account that has the role you would like to hand over, click 'MY ACCOUNT' in the top-right corner of the page.
  

• Select the Light role that you would like to hand over.
  

• Once you are viewing that role, click the 'SETTINGS' icon in the top-right corner of the page.
  

• Near the bottom of your settings page, click the 'Hand over!' link to begin the process of handing that Light role over to another account. 
  

• Fill out the first name, last name, and email address of the person you are sending the Light role to and then click the 'HAND OVER' button.

• If the person you are handing over the role to already has an account, they will be sent an email asking them to add this role to their account. 
  
• If the person you are handing over the role to does not yet have an account with BlessEveryHome.com, they will be asked to create an account by entering a password. 
  

You will know that the process has been completed when the role is no longer present in the 'Your roles' section on your account page. If it is still there, it means they have not taken the appropriate action.
