Click on a household icon, the information box will appear. All of your adopted houses will start as grey icons.
Select the icon that best describes the current status of your relationship with that neighbor. Each time you click on the color icon, it will add one to the total on the corner of that icon. This helps you keep track of how many times you have built your relationship with that neighbor.
