            The Backup Database button is greyed out in the AdvancePro Server.

            This maybe because the case of the Computer name in the registry does not match the actual computer name.

            See below for details:

            • Access the registry editor - Click Start Menu - Click on RUN option - Enter REGEDIT - Go to HKEY LOCAL MACHINE - Click on SOFTWARE - Click on ADVANCEPRO
            • Next double click on the SQLSERVER - In the Value data the name of the computer must be in the exact case as is specified for the computer.

            This issue could also occur if you have renamed the computer name. If the computer name is in Lower case then the name in the SQLSERVER field must show it in Lower case as well.
